About the Role
We are a growing Singapore-based e-commerce firm and are looking for a Finance & Admin Executive to manage day-to-day accounting work in-house, support internal finance operations, and provide administrative and operational support to the business.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in Singapore. No employment sponsorship will be provided for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance (In-house)
Manage day-to-day accounting activities in-house, including bookkeeping and maintenance of accurate accounting records.
Prepare and post accounting entries for sales, expenses, receipts, and bank transactions.
Issue invoices and track receivables/payables, as applicable.
Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing.
Prepare management accounts and support the preparation of financial statements for reporting purposes.
Prepare information and schedules required for corporate income tax filings, and liaise with auditors or tax agents for year-end reporting, where applicable.
Maintain organised accounting documentation and records in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Administration & Operations Support
Provide general administrative and operational support to the business.
Maintain organised corporate, compliance, and operational records.
Coordinate with external professional service providers (e.g. auditors, corporate secretarial firms, where applicable) on statutory, compliance, and administrative matters.
Support ad-hoc operational tasks as required by management.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in in-house bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably in SME environments.
Hands-on experience in maintaining full or partial sets of accounts and supporting month-end closing.
Familiarity with accounting principles, management accounts, and basic tax concepts (GST and corporate tax).
Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Familiarity with the Singapore regulatory environment (ACRA, IRAS, GST concepts).
Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage accounting work accurately and independently.
Self-motivated and dependable, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA / CPA) are an advantage but not mandatory.
Strong written and spoken English, ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders is required for business communication.

Working Hours
