Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

AGPG Asia Pte Ltd is a fast-growing beverage distribution and e-commerce company in Singapore, We are expanding our finance team and looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Accounts Executive.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable (AP)

• Match supplier invoices with PO, DO, and GRN


• Verify import costings (freight, duties, forwarder charges)


• Process payments (bank transfer / GIRO)


• Maintain supplier statements and resolve discrepancies

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Issue invoices, credit notes, and DOs


• Follow-up on customer payments & maintain ageing


• Handle credit customer statements and reconciliations


• Work with sales team for disputes and outstanding collections

3. General Ledger (GL)

• Perform monthly bank reconciliation


• Prepare accruals, prepayments, depreciation


• Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting


• Update schedules for audit purposes

4. GST & Compliance

• Prepare and submit GST (G5/G7)


• Maintain proper tax records and filing


• Support auditors (external & internal) with required documents

5. General and Adhoc duties

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field


• 2–4 years’ experience in Singapore-based accounting (AP/AR/GL)


• Strong knowledge of GST and basic Singapore accounting standards


• Proficient in Excel (vlookup, pivot is a bonus)


• Experience with ERP systems (Xero/Quickbooks/Info-tech is an advantage)


• Meticulous, organised, able to handle volume in a fast-paced environment


• Positive working attitude, reliable, and able to work independently
