Company Overview:
We are a newly established company specializing in customised-to space furniture solutions — including beds, cabinets, wardrobes, and drawers — designed to fit modern homes and unique living spaces. Our operations involve a collaborative team in China handling design, production, and quality control. We are now building our Singapore team to manage local customer engagement, sales coordination, and e-commerce operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing start-up and contribute to shaping our business processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the design, production, and QC teams based in China on order progress and project updates.
- Liaise closely with customers in Singapore to understand design requirements, provide quotations, and follow up on project timelines.
- Manage day-to-day administrative and operational tasks, including order documentation, invoicing, and delivery scheduling.
- Handle customer service inquiries and aftersales support through email, phone, and online platforms.
- Oversee backend e-commerce operations across online platforms, including product listings, pricing updates, and sales order management.
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows for smooth business operations.
- Support marketing and promotional activities related to product launches and online campaigns.
- Maintain proper records of sales activities, supplier communications, and customer databases.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in e-commerce operations, administrative coordination, or customer service.
- Background in furniture, interior design, or manufacturing operations will be an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (to liaise effectively with the China-based team).
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Independent, resourceful, and able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Knowledge of online shopping platforms, backend management tools, and Excel/Google Sheets is preferred.
