About the Team:
The Supply & Demand Analytics and Automations Engineer will drive the transition from manual, people-dependent execution toward scalable analytics and automation infrastructure. This role focuses on building visibility across operations, establishing reliable reporting, and designing sustainable workflows to improve decision-making speed, accuracy, and control as the business scales
Job Description:
Solution Development & Automation
- Build and maintain sophisticated SQL- and Python-based solutions to drive departmental reporting and automation.
- Identify and execute high-impact opportunities to automate repetitive workflows and manual operational tasks.
- Develop and refine scripts and internal tools to reduce organizational dependency on manual data intervention.
Analytics & Visibility
- Design and deploy advanced dashboards and trackers to provide "single source of truth" visibility for operational and business teams.
- Audit and improve data quality and reporting clarity, ensuring that metrics across the funnel—including sourcing, onboarding, and activation stages—are actionable.
- Monitor performance KPIs through a robust and reliable reporting infrastructure.
Process Optimization & Strategy
- Translate ambiguous, messy business problems into structured technical requirements for reporting or automation.
- Design scalable, long-term workflows that balance speed and accuracy to deliver high-impact results.
- Maintain a clear-headed approach under pressure to ensure technical solutions address long-term organizational goals rather than short-term fixes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Root Cause Analysis
- Partner with Operations, Commercial, BI, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational blockers and improve funnel performance.
- Investigate and resolve the underlying root causes of operational issues, moving beyond merely reporting symptoms to proactively improving systems.
- Communicate complex technical concepts simply and effectively to diverse stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables.
Requirements:
Educational Background & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Analytics, Economics, or related quantitative field
- 2–3 years of professional work experience
- Proven track record of building automations, scripts, or internal dashboards that solve real-world business problems
- Experience working in ambiguous or fast-changing environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced SQL: Proficiency in complex data extraction and validation to transform unstructured data into clean, actionable reporting.
- Python: Working knowledge for developing end-to-end automation, reporting, and data workflows.
- Data Fundamentals: Strong mastery of Excel and Google Sheets for rapid prototyping and data management.
- Strategic Communication: Ability to interface with diverse stakeholders and translate technical outputs into business value
- Mindset: Highly self-driven, execution-focused, and possessing a strong ownership mindset to operate independently with minimal instruction.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience in Operations, Logistics, E-commerce, BI, or Startups
