This is a hands-on individual-contributor role, working across Business, Product, Technology, Marketing, Risk, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Data teams.
Job Responsibilities
Commercialization Strategy
- Own the end-to-end commercialization plan for SME lending products - opportunity sizing, proposition, pricing, business case, launch, scaling, enhancement, and retirement.
- Translate market research, customer needs, portfolio data, and competitor intelligence into segment priorities, value propositions, and investment recommendations.
- Define target segments, channel strategy, sales proposition, commercial terms, and go-to-market plans with Business and Marketing.
Pricing & Commercial Performance
- Own pricing strategy and governance - frameworks, rate cards, fee structures, return thresholds, approval authorities, and exception principles.
- Develop risk-based pricing recommendations using funding cost, expected loss, operating cost, capital consumption, customer value, and competitive benchmarks.
- Build business cases, unit economics, revenue forecasts, and profitability/sensitivity models with Finance and Risk.
- Monitor price realization, margin, yield, and risk-adjusted returns; recommend repricing or portfolio actions when performance deviates.
Launch & Digital Delivery
- Lead cross-functional launch readiness - product requirements, credit policy, customer journeys, operations, controls, documentation, training, and reporting.
- Convert commercial and credit needs into clear requirements and prioritized roadmaps with Product, Design, and Technology.
- Resolve delivery trade-offs while keeping stakeholders aligned on scope, timing, and commercial outcomes.
Performance & Lifecycle Management
- Define and monitor KPIs: acquisition, funnel conversion, approval rate, utilization, price realization, yield, revenue, margin, risk-adjusted return, CX, and portfolio quality.
- Use cohort, segment, channel, and funnel analysis to identify growth opportunities, friction points, pricing gaps, and emerging risks.
- Design experiments and post-launch reviews; recommend improvements based on measurable outcomes.
Governance & Responsible Product Design
- Embed MAS requirements, responsible lending principles, credit policy, risk appetite, and conduct standards throughout product design and commercialization.
- Own the product-program repository - approval papers, decision trails, version control, and renewal submissions - audit-ready at all times.
- Coordinate inputs/approvals across Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Fraud, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Technology; support audits.
