Job description:
Job Summary
This is a role supporting the Life Sciences team in Scientific Solutions TEC for the Singapore region
General Responsibilities
SME Support
- Design and develop workflows including equipment and reagents based on but not restricted to existing portfolio
- Collaborate with relevant stake holders to identify and nurture Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the assigned product category.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to organize workshops and conferences to enhance customers' product knowledge and establish professional relationships.
- Proactively research relevant topics related to the product to enhance expertise in the assigned product area.
- Thought leadership development and content creation and management for sales tool
Sales Operations Support
- Research and analyze customer needs and support local sales team to position and configure the correct solutions for the customers
- Study new products/technologies aligned with existing product lines and their alignment with current portfolios based on regional offerings
- Assist sales team on product demonstrations/technical presentations to customers or at conferences to promote products and services
- Provide pre-sales technical support through presentations and customer visits
- Run sample tests on instruments as and when needed (in-house or at customer sites)
- Provide training to customers in post-sales and method development
Education
- Post graduate degree in Science, Biomedical Science
Experience
- Proven track record of scientific knowledge based on Genomics and/or Proteomics and/or Cell Analysis
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
- Commercially aware, highly motivated and target driven.
- Customer orientated and able to drive activities that improve customer satisfaction.
- Organized, able to work independently and in teams.
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time (mainly for trainings )
- Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and PowerPoint
