Assistant Cake Shop Manager (Festive Sales)

Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operations
• Oversee daily Deli operations (retail and online orders) ensuring smooth service execution
• Maintain product quality, presentation, and merchandising standards
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and compliance at all times
• Monitor guest experience and handle feedback promptly
Sales & Marketing
• Drive revenue across retail, e-shop, and festive campaigns
• Lead upselling and sales initiatives within the team
• Work closely with Marketing Manager on promotions, launches, and festive campaigns
• Monitor sales trends and optimize product availability
Financial & Cost Management
• Manage outlet P&L, including revenue, cost control, and profitability
• Control food, packaging, and operating costs
• Forecast demand, especially for festive periods
• Manage inventory, ordering, and par stock levels to minimize wastage
E-Commerce & Festive Management
• Oversee festive takeaway operations and execution
• Ensure accurate e-shop setup (products, pricing, availability)
• Coordinate order fulfilment to ensure timely and accurate delivery
People Management
• Supervise, train, and motivate team members
• Plan staff roster based on business needs
• Conduct daily briefings on sales, promotions, and operations
• Maintain discipline, grooming, and performance standards
Operational Control
• Ensure equipment, displays, and facilities are well maintained
• Monitor stock, expiry, and storage conditions
• Maintain proper handling of packaging and takeaway items
Requirements:
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in F&B retail, or similar operations
• Experience in festive sales and e-commerce preferred
• Strong P&L, cost control, and inventory management skills
• Proven ability to drive sales and execute promotions
• Good collaboration with Marketing teams
• Strong planning and organizational capability (especially festive periods)
• Good communication and team management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS/e-commerce systems
