Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with key clients by understanding their needs and continuously proposing solutions that ensure satisfaction of products and services

  •  Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and maximize revenue from key accounts

  • Act as the main point of contact between key clients by addressing their inquiries, resolving issues and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling

  • Communicate and collaborate with the marketing, purchasing and logistics departments to meet client expectations

  • Negotiate contract renewals and pricing agreements, ensure mutually beneficial terms for both the company and key clients

  • Meet established deadlines for the submission of promotion plans

  • Assist and resolve any enquiries and issue arising from customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust

  • Lead a team of merchandisers to ensure work effectiveness 

  • Plan and implement new product launching activities

  • Analyse competitor activities and market dynamics, adjust account strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive advantage 

  • Keep track of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and key account metrics, using data-driven insights to measure success and drive continuous improvement

  • Stay updated with industry trends and market developments, analyse and implements plans to meet evolving requirements

  • Prepare regular reports of sales progress and forecasts

  • To perform any other duties as and when assigned

Job Requirements:

  • At least diploma / degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG / Modern Trade

  • Proven experience in key account management

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications as well as CRM software

  • The ability to build rapport with key clients

  • The ability to handle multiple client accounts

  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
