About the role

E-Freight Global seeks an ambitious Assistant Sales Manager to support sales growth initiatives and develop into a future sales leadership role. This position combines account management, business development support, and team collaboration to drive revenue growth in our freight forwarding and logistics services. You will work alongside the Sales Manager, support key account relationships, assist in executing sales campaigns, and gain hands-on experience in managing customer accounts and sales processes.


Key responsibilities

• Support the Sales Manager in managing sales team operations and execution of sales strategies


• Manage assigned customer accounts and maintain strong client relationships


• Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing account portfolio


• Conduct market research to identify business opportunities in FCL, LCL, air freight, and specialty logistics services


• Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance metrics for management review


• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction


• Support attendance at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to build brand presence


• Monitor competitive activities and contribute insights on market trends


Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field


• Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in B2B or logistics industry


• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets


• Good understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related industry


• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills


• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships


• Proficiency with CRM systems and basic sales management tools


Preferred qualities

• Experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or international logistics


• Knowledge of LCL/FCL operations and shipping documentation


• Exposure to digital sales tools or business intelligence systems
