Commercial Strategy, Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Financial and Volume Accountability: Achieve set revenue and volume targets across all wholesale segments, while ensuring margin-conscious growth.
Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive annual account strategies and growth roadmaps.
Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations for commercial agreements and establish robust pricing frameworks.
Ecosystem Integration & Partnership Expansion
Global Positioning: Strategically position SingPost within key global logistics ecosystems.
Channel and Network Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities for channel expansion.
Cultivate structured partnerships that drive last-mile volume growth and facilitate reciprocal network utilization.
Expand inbound last-mile volumes into Singapore and the Asia Pacific (AP) region.
Structure commercially attractive partnerships that leverage SingPost’s regional strengths.
Enable the use of partners' networks for SingPost's end customers entering new markets.
Develop joint go-to-market strategies focused on securing true shippers.
Grow multi-country volume flows through consolidator ecosystems.
Targeting Key Accounts (PRC Consolidators)
Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with major PRC-based consolidators.
Drive direct contracting and secure high-volume commitments.
Position SingPost as the preferred partner for downstream last-mile and regional distribution services.
Increase share-of-wallet from significant cross-border flows into Singapore and Asia Pacific.
Platform and Merchant Engagement
Platform Access & Onboarding: Establish mechanisms to access platforms and their merchant ecosystems.
Formulate platform-level engagement strategies.
Design scalable processes for onboarding platform sellers.
Utilize network consolidator partnerships to provide comprehensive global shipping reach.
Structure commercial models to generate consistent, recurring cross-border volumes.
Operational and Cross-Functional Alignment
Internal Collaboration: Maintain close working relationships with Operations, Network, Finance, and Product teams.
Readiness and Support: Ensure operational teams are prepared to support commercial volume growth effectively.
Constraint Management: Proactively escalate and address any structural constraints that impede commercial growth.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field
10+ years in logistics, cross-border e-commerce, or freight ecosystems.
Proven experience managing high-value B2B accounts.
Strong negotiation capability across international markets.
Business-level Mandarin proficiency to work with PRC logistics player
Experience leading small commercial teams.
Experience working with PRC logistics players.
Existing relationships within consolidator ecosystems.
Exposure to cross-border ecommerce flows.
Ability to travel for business independently
