Objectives:
To generate resident insights and translate community needs into relevant content, partnerships, and digital engagement initiatives for our malls.
Job Duties:
Community & Resident Insights
Conduct research on resident demographics, behaviours, and emerging trends within the catchment areas of our malls
Identify resident needs, preferences, and pain points, including the digital platforms they commonly use (e.g. public transport apps, community Telegram channels, group-buy platforms, WhatsApp communities)
Digital & Community Monitoring
Monitor and analyse online community platforms (e.g. Telegram groups, forums, and social channels) to surface relevant insights, conversations, and opportunities
Track emerging topics and trends that could inform mall programming, promotions, or partnerships
Commercial & Content Support
Support the team in sourcing, evaluating, and proposing deals, promotions, or featured goods and services that are relevant and appealing to residents
Assist in curating content for the mall’s mobile app and website, ensuring information is timely, resident-focused, and aligned with ongoing campaigns or community initiatives
Coordinate with merchants and vendors to gather assets, validate offer details, and ensure accuracy before publication.
Support basic content management tasks, including uploads, tagging, categorisation, housekeeping, and performance tracking.
Monitor engagement metrics and provide simple reports or observations to improve content relevance and effectiveness
Collaboration
Work closely with internal/ external stakeholders to ensure insights are translated into actionable initiatives and timely content updates
Job Requirements:
Education
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Business-related discipline, such as , Marketing, Marketing Technology (MarTech), Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics / Digital Business, Communications or related fields.
Experience
Strong interest in community trends, digital platforms, and consumer behaviour
Comfortable navigating social and messaging platforms (e.g. Telegram, WhatsApp, forums)
Detail-oriented with good research and synthesis skills
Able to translate observations into practical ideas
Basic familiarity with content management systems
Those with prior experience in supporting UI/UX prototype testing and/or records user click-paths will be an advantage
Familiarity with District 22 catchment area will be an advantage
