Associate Scrum Master

We're Hiring: Junior Scrum Master! GECO Asia is offering a Company-Led Training Program (1–2 weeks) designed to equip aspiring Scrum Masters with practical, hands-on experience in supporting B2C digital projects. This program combines training, mentorship, and project exposure, giving participants the opportunity to apply Agile practices in real project environments while receiving guidance from experienced professionals.

Role: Junior Scrum Master

What You'll Do

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.


• Assist in ensuring Scrum events are efficient, focused, and value-driven.


• Support the Scrum Team by helping to identify and remove impediments with guidance from mentors.


• Collaborate with the Product Owner and team members to understand backlog refinement and prioritization.


• Learn to use Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to track sprint progress and document project updates.


• Observe and support facilitation techniques to foster collaboration, self-organization, and continuous improvement.


• Gain exposure to risk identification, issue tracking, and basic change management in Agile environments.


• Build an understanding of technical concepts, project workflows, and architecture within B2C platforms.


• Promote open communication, accountability, and transparency across team interactions.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical knowledge).


• Atleast 1 year of experience in project coordination, Agile environments, or software development (internship/project experience acceptable).


• Strong interest in Agile/Scrum practices and desire to build a career as a Scrum Master.


• Familiarity with Agile concepts and frameworks; formal Scrum certification is a plus but not mandatory.


• Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.


• Eagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of technologies such as .NET, ReactJS, Java, or SQL.


• Familiarity with B2C platforms, content management systems, or e-commerce applications.


• Hands-on exposure to software development or testing through academic projects, internships, or prior roles.
