As part of our rapid expansion, we are looking for talented Backend Engineers to join our Singapore-based technology team. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work on large-scale systems, automation solutions, and data-driven platforms serving regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend applications and microservices.
Build and optimize web scraping, data collection, and data processing systems.
Develop automation and workflow solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Design and integrate RESTful APIs and distributed system components.
Optimize system architecture, performance, reliability, and scalability.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
Participate in system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and best development practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
1-3 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development.
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
Hands-on experience with Redis and Kafka.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience in web scraping, data crawling, automation development, or related projects.
Familiarity with Linux environments and server deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Ability to read Chinese technical documentation and communicate effectively in Mandarin and English.
Able to work independently in a remote working environment.
Age below 33
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Internet, Technology, Logistics, E-commerce, or Platform-based businesses.
Familiarity with Python scripting and automation tools.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployment environments.
Experience handling large-scale or high-concurrency systems.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud.
Experience working in fast-paced startup or high-growth technology environments.
Compulsory Requirement: Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development, Web Scraping/Data Collection, and RPA/Automation solutions.
