Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with external accountants or auditors when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Wave)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and time management
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
