Brand & Content Marketing Specialist — Calvary Carpentry
Calvary Carpentry
Description
Brand & Content Marketing Specialist — Calvary Carpentry
Location: Singapore (Kampung Bugis HQ/showroom) | Type: Full-time, permanent Reports to: Head of Business Development
About Calvary Carpentry
Calvary Carpentry is Singapore's exclusive distributor for Accoya, Champaca, OneWood, Dasso, ALPI, and Sicaro timber systems, and the team behind proprietary products like K-Lite and Calvary Composite. We work with architects, developers, main contractors, and specifiers on projects ranging from residential decking to landmark developments like the MBS Boardwalk. Our audience is technical and discerning — our brand has to be premium, precise, and credible, never generic or lifestyle-driven.
The Role
We're looking for someone with genuine taste and a disciplined eye — someone who can take our existing brand system and make it come to life across every touchpoint, without needing to reinvent it. You'll be the person who catches the typo before it goes to print, who knows instinctively when a layout is 90% right and fixes the last 10%, and who can take a rough brief and make good default decisions.
You'll own design, written content, and brand consistency end-to-end, and play a hands-on supporting role in our paid campaigns and trade exhibitions — working alongside our BD lead and sales team rather than leading those independently.
What You'll Own
Collateral & Print Production
Company and product brochures, spec sheets, signage, exhibition materials, and print-ready files, built to a professional standard with zero tolerance for typos or inconsistent formatting
Manage the print production process end-to-end: proofing, vendor liaison, and sign-off before anything goes to press
Website & Digital Upkeep
Keep our company web page updated with new products, projects, and pages if needed
Ongoing fixes and improvements to layout, imagery, typography, and UI/UX consistency on our company website
Keep the site visually and functionally consistent
Written & Visual Content
Write and publish blog posts and LinkedIn content (company page) that build credibility with architects, developers, and specifiers — topics and positioning set by leadership, drafting and execution owned by you
Photo and video content capture and editing/curation for social media and marketing use
Turn project completions and technical material into content that reads as credible, not promotional
Brand Consistency & QC
Act as the last line of defence on fonts, colours, spacing, and tone across every piece of collateral before it ships or prints
Flag and fix inconsistencies proactively, not just when asked
Design System Stewardship
Maintain and extend our templates and brand guidelines so quality doesn't depend on one person's memory
Keep all brand assets organised and current in a single, shared source of truth
Where You'll Support
Paid Advertising
Assist our paid media specialist with campaign creative, ad copy, and platform-ready assets
Help monitor campaign performance and flag anything that looks off — a second set of eyes, not the strategic owner
Campaign strategy, budget, and platform management sit with our paid media specialist
Exhibitions & Events
Support exhibition planning and logistics: materials preparation, vendor coordination support, and on-site assistance during setup and the event itself
Help with post-event follow-up and content capture
Overall event leadership, budget, and final decisions sit with the BD lead
What We're Looking For
Essentials:
3–6 years of experience spanning brand/content design and written content, with a portfolio that shows real brand thinking, not just template execution — B2B, corporate, or technical/industrial experience is a strong plus
Fluent in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator — our production pipeline is Adobe-based and file compatibility across the team is non-negotiable
Strong written communication skills — comfortable drafting blog and LinkedIn content in a technical, credible tone, not lifestyle or consumer copywriting
Comfortable navigating paid social and search platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) enough to prepare assets and support a specialist — not required to have run campaigns independently
Reliable under logistics-heavy, high-pressure situations like trade show setup — follow-through matters more than leadership experience here
Meticulous by nature — you proofread your own work before anyone asks you to
Comfortable taking a brief with gaps in it and making sound calls without needing every decision spelled out
Strong communicator who can push back on a bad brief constructively, but respects final call
Preferred:
Working knowledge of basic SEO principles for web content
Prior experience in construction, architecture, interior design, or another technical B2B industry
Benefits
Standard CPF contributions
Medical/dental coverage
Generous leave entitlement
Compensation
SGD 3,800–4,500/month, commensurate with portfolio and experience, plus standard CPF contributions.
To Apply
Portfolio required — please include at least one example of brand/collateral work for a B2B or technical audience, and one example where you had to work within someone else's existing brand guidelines.
