The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. is seeking a visionary Brand & Marketing Manager to be part of its core management team. As the strategic architect of our "farm-to-cup" evolution, you will be a key driver of our next level of growth, bridging our rich heritage with modern lifestyle trends and ensuring ethical commerce remains at the heart of our global expansion. This is a pivotal role for a creative storyteller who understands the nuance of premium retail/F&B and the data-driven world of modern e-commerce. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will manage the synergy between our digital flagship, physical retail boutiques, and signature tea bars.
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Brand & Partnerships
Develop and execute a marketing roadmap that elevates "modern tea culture" and defines our market positioning.
Identify and secure high-impact partnerships with lifestyle brands, luxury hospitality, and corporate entities to expand brand reach and prestige.
Champion the "Ethical Commerce" narrative, ensuring our commitment to grower communities is a core USP integrated into all brand and partnership touchpoints.
Campaign Management & Performance
Lead the planning and rollout of 360-degree marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and tea bar channels.
Manage and optimise the marketing budget, ensuring high efficiency in spend.
Track and report on campaign performance, focusing on ROAS and ROI across all consumer touchpoints.
Digital & E-commerce Growth
Direct the growth of our digital flagship, optimising the UI/UX and user journey for a premium, seamless experience.
Manage full-funnel digital marketing, including SEO/SEM strategy, paid social media, and email automation flows.
Omni-channel Integration (Retail & Tea Bars)
Design immersive O2O (Online-to-Offline) campaigns to drive foot traffic and loyalty for physical boutiques and tea bars.
Ensure a consistent, world-class sensory brand experience across all physical "offline" touchpoints.
Public Relationship, KOL & Community Engagement
Lead a robust Public Relationship and communications strategy to position the brand within premium tea and lifestyle sectors.
Identify and manage high-value partnerships with KOLs and influencers who align with our values of craftsmanship and sustainability.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Direct the creation of high-fidelity brand assets that honor our history while appealing to a contemporary global audience.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
3-4 years in Brand/Marketing Management, specifically within Retail, FMCG, or specialty tea or coffee.
Proven track record in scaling e-commerce platforms (Shopify) and managing performance marketing.
A deep, genuine commitment to ethical sourcing, sustainability, and community impact.
Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at a group level.
