Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a creative and technology-driven Marketing & IT Manager to lead both marketing strategies and digital systems for our growing F&B chain. This role is responsible for strengthening brand presence, driving customer traffic to outlets, managing digital marketing channels, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems such as POS, online ordering platforms, and CRM tools.
The ideal candidate will have experience in F&B marketing, digital campaigns, and IT system management, with the ability to integrate technology with customer engagement and business growth.
1. Viral Content Creation
Ideation & Strategy: Develop innovative and engaging video content ideas aligned with our brand and marketing objectives, focusing on viral potential. Stay up-to-date with current social media trends and identify opportunities to leverage them.
Content Creation: Produce high-quality, entertaining, and informative video content, including scripting, filming, and editing. This includes creating content featuring themselves and/or other company staff.
On-Camera Presence: Confidently and authentically represent the company brand in videos, demonstrating strong on-camera presence and acting skills.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop content calendars, campaign strategies, and ensure brand consistency across all platforms. Collaborate with other staff members to feature them in videos as needed.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze video performance metrics (views, shares, engagement, etc.) to optimize content strategies and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports on performance.
Community Engagement: Interact with followers and respond to comments on social media platforms to build a strong online community.
2. Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and revenue.
Plan and implement CSR initiatives, seasonal promotions, and digital & physical events.
Conduct competitor research and analyze market trends to refine marketing strategies.
Align marketing initiatives with business objectives and revenue targets.
3. Digital Marketing & Social Media Management
Oversees all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Xiao Hong Shu).
Develop and execute content calendars for engaging storytelling, including reels, banners, and video content.
Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital platforms.
Engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions.
Oversee paid media campaigns, optimizing ad spend on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other PPC channels.
Implement SEO, SEM, and performance marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility.
Research on F&B industry-related topics
Create various content types (videos, articles, infographics) with relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides
Utilize various digital publishing platforms to create structured drafts
Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics
Incorporate blog and social media posts in both websites and social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and Xiao Hong Shu
Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimize content
Analyze web traffic to measure the success of the content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)
4. Influencer & Partnership Marketing
Identify, engage, and manage influencers, brand ambassadors, and key opinion leaders.
Plan influencer outreach for product launches, store openings, and promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with media outlets to draft press releases and publicity materials.
Develop strategic partnerships with brands, businesses, and food bloggers to expand reach.
5. Food Delivery & Digital Order Management
Monitor and manage food delivery platforms (GrabFood, Foodpanda, Deliveroo) to ensure active menus and availability.
Work with outlet teams to minimize downtime on delivery platforms, escalating issues to operations when necessary.
Manage Island-wide tablet orders, ensuring they are assigned to the nearest outlet efficiently.
Track and optimize digital order assignment time, working with operations to enhance speed and accuracy.
6. Customer Experience & Brand Reputation Management
Monitor and respond to customer feedback on Google Reviews, social media, and delivery platforms.
Handle customer complaints and queries across digital channels, ensuring quick and professional service recovery.
Track customer sentiment trends and work with operations to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure food quality, hygiene, and service meet company SOPs.
7. Public Relations (PR) & Crisis Communication
Develop and oversee crisis communication strategies to protect the brand’s reputation.
Ensure all external communications align with compliance and corporate messaging.
Write and distribute press releases for new store openings, product launches, and events.
Build relationships with media, food critics, and lifestyle publications to secure positive brand coverage.
8. Loyalty & Customer Retention Marketing
Develop and manage Takagi Ramen’s loyalty program, driving repeat customer engagement.
Work with the digital team to create personalized marketing campaigns based on customer data.
Implement strategies to increase customer lifetime value and brand loyalty.
9. Reporting & Data Analytics
Track and analyze key marketing metrics, including social media engagement, ad spend ROI, and campaign performance.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports to present at management meetings.
Conduct post-campaign analysis to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements.
10. Team Leadership & Innovation
Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
Provide professional development opportunities to upskill team members.
Promote collaborative teamwork and a feedback-driven environment.
11. IT Systems & Digital Platforms
Manage IT systems including POS systems, online ordering platforms, CRM systems, and website management.
Ensure smooth operation of outlet technology infrastructure and troubleshoot technical issues.
Coordinate with external IT vendors for system maintenance, upgrades, and cybersecurity.
Support digital transformation initiatives such as self-order kiosks, mobile ordering, and data analytics systems.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or IT management, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or retail chains.
Proven experience in social media strategy, influencer marketing, and digital advertising.
Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEO, CRM tools, and email marketing.
Ability to analyze marketing data and optimize campaigns based on KPIs.
Proficiency in Japanese is preferred, to effectively engage and communicate with our Japanese customers
Must be able to do content creation and appearing on Social Media platforms
Proven experience creating viral video content for social media platforms (please provide portfolio or links to examples).
Excellent on-camera presence, communication, and acting skills.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
