Business Analyst (Digital Transformation & Design Thinking)

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. In this pivotal role, you will bridge business needs with IT solutions, applying Design Thinkingto craft human-centered solutions, drive digital transformation, and enhance customer experiences. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to identify opportunities, optimize processes and deliver impactful outcomes aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth business needs analysis, engaging stakeholders to uncover challenges and opportunities.


• Apply Design Thinking methodologies to design innovative, user-centric solutions.


• Translate business requirements into clear and testable user stories, functional specifications and use cases.


• Develop and maintain thorough documentation such as BRDs, process flows and UAT plans.


• Identify and recommend process improvements, automation and digital transformation initiatives.


• Collaborate with architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to design viable IT solutions.


• Act as a liaison between business and IT, ensuring alignment and managing stakeholder expectations.


• Support UAT and post-deployment activities to ensure solutions meet business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Master’s/MBA is a plus.


• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role.


• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.


• Experience in E-commerce, Hospitality, or large-scale IT systems is highly advantageous.


• Proficiency with BA tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart or Balsamiq.


• Certifications preferred: CCBA, CBAP, PSM/PSPO, Design Thinking.


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.


• Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record in requirements engineering and process optimization.


• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
