We are looking for a passionate individual looking to broaden their marketing and business development knowledge in the retail industry.
As a Business Development and Marketing Executive, you will be involved in fostering close relationships with shopping malls, departmental stores, and external brand partners for cross-marketing and collaborations to drive brand awareness and traffic to OSIM’s retail network. You will also play a key role in supporting islandwide marketing activations to amplify brand presence and customer engagement. Not only will you be able to broaden your professional network, but you can also grasp the fundamentals of marketing, branding, and product positioning concepts, and learn to execute marketing strategies to drive conversions and support the retail Sales Team.
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with shopping malls and departmental stores
Identify and source good-fit brand partners to form strategic partnerships and cross-brand marketing initiatives
Work closely with Sales Managers to increase marketing and product awareness by driving more traffic flow to retail outlets
Coordinate closely with the Marketing team and in-house designer to publicize new launches, current and relevant marketing initiatives, and artwork onto shopping malls and departmental stores’ communication platforms (posters, social media, eDM, website, apps and in-mall advertising spaces)
Deliver content and messaging that meets brand guidelines and standards
Propose, track, and manage marketing promotions and initiatives for departmental stores, new outlet openings, selected outlets, and islandwide marketing activations
Support the execution and coordination of islandwide marketing activations, including on-ground events, campaigns, and customer engagement activities
Update / creation of product SKU codes / price promotion codes / price list in system for departmental stores
Manage department sponsorship inventories and arrange deliveries to lucky draw winners
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Business Administration / Marketing, or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in related field is preferred
Organized, resourceful, meticulous, and able to multi-task
A strong team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent relationship building, collaboration and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
