Job Title: BD Associate/Merchant Sales Specialist
Job Duration: 12 months contract with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
About the Role: As a vital front-line member of our outbound sales team, you will identify and qualify potential merchants, set up meetings, and help create a high-quality sales pipeline. Your efforts will directly impact our merchant acquisition success across diverse channels such as cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and more.
What You'll Do:
Prospect and engage merchants via multiple outbound channels
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on merchant profiles and interest
Book and coordinate sales meetings, ensuring all relevant information is captured
Manage and update CRM systems like Salesforce or Streak
Collaborate with the Merchant Sales Team to refine lead quality and follow-up strategies
Maintain daily/weekly reports on outreach activities and conversions
Stay informed on our offerings, market trends, and competitive positioning
Who You Are:
Diploma or higher in business, marketing, communications, or related fields
Minimum 1 year experience in sales development, telemarketing, or business support
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident phone manner
Detail-oriented with strong discipline in documentation
Resilient and comfortable handling high outreach volumes and rejections
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of the F&B or hospitality industry
Experience qualifying leads or booking appointments in B2B SaaS or tech
Multilingual skills to connect with a diverse merchant base
Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or Streak
