About the Role!
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to grow our digital payment solutions. Acting as the vital bridge between merchants and our Tech team, you will generate new leads, secure high-revenue partnerships, and translate complex business needs into tailored payment experiences. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, bilingual (English and Mandarin) problem-solver with a strong grasp of digital payment workflows and a proven drive to exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Drive Revenue Growth: Actively generate sales leads, source new business opportunities, and secure high-revenue merchants to expand our digital payment footprint.
● Deliver Tailored Solutions: Conduct strategic meetings with potential merchants to understand their business needs, acting as the bridge to our Tech team to provide customized payment solutions.
● Manage the Sales Cycle: Develop and execute effective sales and marketing plans, consistently achieving or exceeding established monthly and quarterly targets.
● Cultivate Partnerships: Build profitable, long-standing relationships with clients and actively seek referrals from existing merchants to drive organic growth.
● Ensure Client Retention: Analyze merchant behavior and anticipate their needs, proactively engaging with at-risk accounts to prevent churn or service downgrades.
● Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the broader Business Development team and internal stakeholders to support overall company objectives.
Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
● Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate with our diverse merchant base.
● Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the digital payment ecosystem, including processes, pipelines, workflows, and relevant tools.
● Key Attributes: An entrepreneurial, analytical, and independent problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
● Preferred Experience (Good to have): A proven track record in B2B sales, account management, partnership building, and revenue generation is highly advantageous.
