About the role

We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Executive (Dealer & Partner Management) to manage and develop Motorist's dealer and business partner network. This role focuses on dealer relationship management, partner engagement, project coordination, and ensuring smooth execution of dealer programmes and initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to strengthen engagement, improve operational efficiency, and support the company's business objectives.

Key responsibilities

Dealer & Partner Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of dealer and business partners

  • Build and maintain strong relationships through regular communication, business reviews, and engagement activities

  • Support dealer onboarding, training, and adoption of Motorist's products, services, and programmes

  • Drive dealer activation and engagement initiatives to ensure newly onboarded and reactivated dealers successfully adopt the platform and participate actively in company programmes

  • Monitor dealer activity, utilisation, and performance to ensure dealers remain engaged, contribute positively to business objectives, and generate sustainable revenue opportunities for the company

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify inactive dealers and implement reactivation plans to improve participation, retention, and commercial outcomes

  • Act as the liaison between dealers, partners, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure a positive experience

  • Gather feedback from dealers and partners and recommend improvements to products, services, and processes

Dealer Account Administration & Payment Follow-Up

  • Monitor dealer account status, contract renewals, and service utilisation

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and overdue invoices in a professional and timely manner

  • Work closely with Finance and Operations team to ensure accurate billing, payment reconciliation, and account management.

  • Maintain proper records of dealer agreements, payment status, and account-related communications

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead and coordinate dealer and partner-related projects from planning to execution.

  • Support the planning and execution of dealer engagement programmes, networking events, workshops, roadshows, and appreciation activities.

  • Manage key projects such as Star Dealer Awards, gala dinners, industry events, surveys, recognition programmes, and special campaigns.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Track project milestones, action plans, budgets, and deliverables while providing regular updates to management.

Dealer Network Development

  • Identify and onboard new dealer and business partners to strengthen the Company's network.

  • Support initiatives to improve dealer engagement, retention, and participation in Company programmes.

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of dealer needs and market dynamics.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor dealer engagement, programmes participation, and project outcomes.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for management review.

  • Analyse dealers' feedback and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Market & Industry Awareness

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors activities, and developments within the automotive sector.

  • Provide market insights and recommendations to support future dealer engagement and partnership initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

  • As the Company continues to grow and evolve, the scope of this role may be expanded from time to time to support new business initiatives, projects, operational requirements and strategic priorities.

  • The employee may be assigned additional duties and responsibilities that are reasonably related to the role and aligned with Company's objectives.

  • The role may also evolve to support new business units, strategic partnerships, commercial initiatives, events, or special projects as required by the Company.
