Overview
Our client, is a market-leading Regional Educational & Lifestyle Retailer.
We are seeking a driven Business Development Executive to grow revenue and expand market presence by promoting and increasing the reach of publications across key client segments such as schools, institutions, and retail networks, while supporting ongoing marketing and distribution efforts.
Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 + AWS + Transport Coverage
Working hours: MON- FRI Office hours
Location: North East Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth by promoting publications and services, supporting the execution of business initiatives and sales strategies.
Oversee marketing and distribution activities across key channels, including retail, schools, institutions, and online platforms.
Plan and execute campaigns, events, and roadshows, managing logistics, manpower, and post-activity evaluations.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships to enhance market reach and revenue streams.
Present product offerings, address client concerns, and negotiate effectively to secure deals.
Coordinate order planning and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and distribution processes.
Monitor market trends to support demand planning and liaise with suppliers on production and costing matters.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients locally and regionally to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Understand client requirements, propose suitable solutions, and manage quotations, feedback, and issue resolution.
Provide reliable after-sales support and follow through on client needs.
Track sales performance, prepare reports, and conduct market research to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
Participate in business reviews, sales discussions, and presentations to strengthen brand presence and adoption.
Support the development and execution of marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Assist in campaign execution, creation of promotional materials, and management of digital platforms such as websites and social media.
Ensure timely delivery of marketing activities and monitor campaign effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales Admin, Editorial, Production, Finance) to drive operational efficiency.
Provide market insights to support product positioning and promotional strategies.
Support pricing discussions, payment follow-ups, and project coordination to ensure smooth implementation.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Good understanding of the publishing landscape, including market trends, key stakeholders, distribution channels, and digital developments
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a thoughtful and professional approach to handling challenges
Detail-oriented with solid analytical skills; comfortable managing data and operational processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with e-learning systems is an advantage
