Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in the Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) category. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving sales growth, expanding distribution channels, and building long-term strategic relationships with key partners, distributors, and retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Growth:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the SDA category across B2B and B2C segments.
Drive market expansion through partnerships with distributors, retailers (offline and online), and channel partners.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to stay competitive in the market.
Channel & Market Development:
Build and manage strong relationships with key retail chains, e-commerce platforms, and wholesale partners.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to launch new products, promotions, and campaigns tailored to customer needs.
Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and potential gaps in the product portfolio.
Operational & Strategic Planning:
Work with cross-functional teams including product development, supply chain, and finance to ensure operational readiness for new initiatives.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports.
Manage pricing strategy, product positioning, and promotional activities to maximize profitability and market share.
Customer & Partner Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners and key clients.
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through timely responses, product training, and after-sales support.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with key partners.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management—preferably in the consumer electronics or small domestic appliances sector.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of the SDA market, including product categories like kitchen appliances, personal care devices, home cleaning solutions, etc.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Strong network within the retail and distribution ecosystem.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and market intelligence tools
