The successful applicant will join a dynamic team with a "grown-up startup" culture, reporting directly to the General Manager of SEA & International Markets, an executive with 12 years of experience at the world's largest e-commerce company.
Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager, you will contribute to our vision to change the perspective within e-commerce companies, transforming returns from insignificant or unsalvageable losses into the single biggest opportunity for cost optimization within their logistics chain.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiation skills and the ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals. The role requires attending networking events and trade shows, meaning the representative must be both personable and professional.
Work Environment
This position is office-based in Singapore. The role requires a willingness to travel for business development needs.
Responsibilities
· Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for our Global markets, including but not limited to Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, by onboarding new clients.
· Co-organize lead-generating events.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to achieve sales targets by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies.
· Maintain customer relationships, implementing yearly plans and goals with existing customers to achieve continuous growth.
· Handhold clients for the first year from onboarding before handing over to the Account Management Team.
Minimum Qualifications
· Two or more years of sales experience within the e-commerce or logistics industry.
· Ability to work independently. Self-starter with a hunter sales mentality.
· Proficiency in English and Chinese.

· Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
· Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
· Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
· Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
· Proficiency with sales management software and CRM systems such as Salesforce, Power BI, Monday.com, MS Office, and G-Suite.
· Proficiency in Dutch is a significant plus.
