Business Development & Marketing Executive (Education Publishing)

Job Overview:
This role focuses on driving sales and brand visibility for educational publishing products. The position involves business development, client relationship management, and the execution of marketing initiatives across schools, tuition centres, retail, and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth for educational publications and services

• Promote and distribute materials to schools, tuition centres, institutions, retail outlets, and e-commerce platforms

• Plan and manage marketing campaigns, events, roadshows, and promotional activities, including logistics and evaluations

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams

• Deliver product presentations, negotiate deals, and close sales with schools and education partners

• Coordinate sales orders, distribution, and supplier negotiations to meet market demand

• Forecast print quantities and manage supply chain efficiency

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships

• Provide tailored solutions, quotations, and after-sales support based on client needs

• Conduct market research, analyze sales performance, and prepare reports to inform strategy

• Collaborate with internal teams (Editorial, Sales Admin, Production, Finance) for seamless execution of campaigns and operations

• Manage digital content, promotional materials, and social media to enhance brand visibility

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field

• At least 3 years of sales/business development experience, ideally in publishing, education, or related industry
