Category Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to achieve sales, profit and growth targets.


• Analyse market trends, customer behaviour and sales data to identify growth opportunities.


• Manage product assortment, ranging and category reviews based on customer demand and business performance.


• Develop pricing and promotional strategies to improve sales and profitability.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate commercial terms.


• Monitor inventory levels and work with relevant teams to improve stock availability and inventory efficiency.


• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities and potential risks.


• Track category performance and prepare regular reports and recommendations for management.


• Collaborate with marketing, operations, supply chain and other internal stakeholders to execute category plans.


• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant procedures.
