About the Role
We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Catering Business Development Manager to grow our catering and events revenue across corporate clients, online platforms, and retail channels. This role focuses on generating new business, developing catering packages, managing inbound and platform sales, and maximising utilisation of our restaurant and event spaces.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will drive catering sales by actively developing new business opportunities across corporate clients, online platforms, and inbound enquiries. You will build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, convert leads into revenue, and grow recurring business such as office lunches and small-scale events.
You will develop catering packages, including individual meals, sharing sets, and event bundles, ensuring they are commercially viable and operationally feasible.
Working closely with internal teams, you will align offerings with cost targets and execution capabilities. Manage and optimise performance across online platforms and digital channels by improving product listings, pricing, and visibility to maximise sales.
In addition, you will promote and monetise our restaurant and bar spaces for meetings, private functions, and small events.
You will coordinate with operations, kitchen, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and events, while continuously identifying new opportunities to grow catering revenue, including retail and alternative sales channels.
Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or catering/events
• Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
• Strong understanding of corporate/B2B sales and client relationship management
• Experience with online food platforms or e-commerce channels is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a new business segment
• Strong coordination, communication, and organisational skills
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays when required
