The Mandate: Architecting the Future of Intelligent Travel



  • AI-Native Infrastructure: Transition from a reactive ticketing platform to a predictive engine. You will lead the integration of Generative AI and ML to automate complex partner integrations, optimize dynamic pricing in real-time, and personalize the B2B marketplace experience at scale


  • Autonomous Distribution: Architect a "self-healing" global distribution network that uses AI to detect fraud, predict demand surges, and manage hyper-concurrency across thousands of global OTAs without human intervention


  • Next-Gen Tech Stack: Lead a massive leap in engineering excellence, moving from high-performance microservices to a serverless, event-driven architecture that ensures 99.99% reliability


  • Cultural Transformation: Evangelize an AI-first mindset across the organization. You will build an elite engineering culture where automated CI/CD is the baseline and R&D into emerging tech is encouraged.


  • Strategic Growth: Partner with the CEO to drive product-led growth, ensuring our technology isn't just a support function but the primary driver of our global valuation

Key Responsibilities


  • AI native technical roadmap: Define and lead the company’s technology vision, architecture, and roadmap with an AI first mindset

  • Scalability & reliability: Build and scale high-volume ticketing platforms with strong performance and reliability. Optimize for high frequency calls from our global partners

  • Engineering leadership: Lead, mentor, and set standards for high-performing engineering teams

  • Security & compliance: Own AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, availability, and disaster recovery

  • Partner with Product, Commercial, and Operations to deliver scalable, business-driven solutions

Requirements / Experience



  • Work experience: 12+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP Eng, CTO, or Head of Engineering) in a high-growth B2B technology-driven company. 

  • Strong advantage with key AI experience

  • Prior background: Preference in travel tech, ticketing, e-commerce, marketplace platforms or payment-heavy platforms.


Technology Stack & Platform




  • Backend: Java (Spring / Spring Boot)


  • Database: MySQL / Amazon Aurora (MySQL-compatible)


  • Cloud: AWS (EC2, RDS, ALB, Auto Scaling, S3, Lambda/ECS/EKS, Cloudflare)


  • Architecture: Microservices, REST APIs, event-driven systems


  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and alerting
