Description

The Opportunity

  • Adecco is partnering with a leading bank to look for a Client Onboarding & Transition Specialist (Investment Banking |Prime Brokerage)
  • Starts off as a 12 months contract

The Talent

  • 3-5 years of client servicing/client interaction/client transition experience in an investment banking/prime brokerage capacity
  • Strong prior experience in internal relationship management and cross departmental communication
  • An understanding of Prime Brokerage would be an advantage
  • Possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). A service mentality is pivotal to the role to ensure a culture of client focus
  • Strong project and data management skills is highly preferable
  • Strong desktop PC skills incl. a good knowledge of Microsoft package
  • Good negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage client expectations between the bank's capabilities and client requirements
  • Lead weekly stakeholder call, providing updates from a Transition front as and when required.
  • Manage and Prioritise the Transition Pipeline of APAC clients with the business team.
  • Manage the delivery of Client/Sales requests through KYC, Credit, Legal, IT and Operations teams.
  • Define Client Requirements with Prime Brokerage and Local Market Sales teams e.g. ecommerce trading access, reporting requirements, relevant client clearing, execution & other relevant docs, commission rates, delivery dates
  • Manage and coordinate Legal, Credit and Compliance sign offs in respective on-boarding systemManage account opening, static set up and training with Client Services and e-Commerce teams
  • Visit clients with relevant Sales & Client Services to review the service offering
  • Liaise directly with Sales teams and Clients to define and deliver new Reporting requirements e.g. new or amended reports on reporting platform or via FTP, new reporting processes
  • Provide MIS reporting, highlights to Business on a monthly basis on the progress of pipeline opportunities
  • Additional Responsibilities & Functions:
  • Account Set-Up (confirmation of client details and coordinate account set up)
  • Liase with e-commerce team and transition support for IT coordination
  • Extend relationship in respective onboarding system
