The Senior Manager, Commercial Marketing will lead the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives to drive business growth within the transport & distribution industry. This role is based in Singapore and requires a focus on delivering impactful marketing campaigns and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Description

Marketing Strategy & Governance

  • Establish commercial marketing frameworks, standards, and guidelines across global offices
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to ensure brand alignment and consistent messaging
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on commercial marketing best practices for regional teams

Campaign & Content Development

  • Lead the development of marketing collateral including product brochures, trade lane highlights, customer presentations, digital content, and campaign materials
  • Oversee content planning, production timelines, and global distribution of marketing assets
  • Ensure materials are designed for omnichannel use across digital, sales, and marketing platforms

Commercial Enablement

  • Develop and maintain marketing toolkits that support global Sales and Customer Service teams
  • Support launches of new services, trade lanes, and commercial initiatives with integrated marketing assets
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to ensure commercially relevant messaging

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Commercial, Trade, Pricing, Customer Service, Digital, and Communications teams to ensure strategic alignment
  • Drive adoption and effective use of marketing assets across global teams

Capability Development

  • Mentor team members and promote strong marketing storytelling and commercial communications practices
  • Build marketing capabilities across commercial functions to strengthen customer engagement

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
  • Approximately 8-10 years of marketing experience, ideally within shipping, logistics, transportation, or B2B services
  • Proven experience developing professional marketing collateral and customer-facing content
  • Strong understanding of commercial operations, sales processes, and customer engagement in a B2B environment
  • Experience collaborating with creative agencies, design teams, or internal production teams
  • Familiarity with container shipping services and trade lane dynamics will be advantageous
  • Proficiency with marketing or design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or CRM platforms
  • Strong storytelling, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
