We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Company Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our integrated retail and manufacturing business. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, managing costs across the production line, and reconciling daily sales from our retail outlets. The ideal candidate will provide key financial insights to support management in strategic decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Full Spectrum Accounting: Manage the full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing, and ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Manufacturing Costing: Oversee product costing, work-in-progress (WIP) tracking, and inventory valuation for the manufacturing division.
Retail Sales Reconciliation: Perform daily/weekly reconciliation of retail sales, point-of-sale (POS) data, and e-commerce transactions.
Tax & Compliance: Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns and corporate tax filings.
Cash Flow & Budgeting: Monitor company cash flow, manage working capital, and assist in annual budgeting and forecasting exercises.
Audit Management: Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to ensure timely statutory filings and audit completion.
Process Improvement: Streamline internal controls and accounting workflows between the factory and retail fronts to improve efficiency.
Job Requirements
Education: Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce or a related field. Additional professional qualifications are highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks) and Advanced Excel.
Soft Skills: Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
