We are looking for a talented and passionate Content Designer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in crafting compelling and user-centric content that informs, engages, and delights our audience across various platforms. You will work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure our content aligns with our business goals and delivers seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
You will be a member of the Digital Experience Studio to understand our users and design meaningful digital products.
Things you will do:
- Conduct user research to understand target audiences, their needs, and pain points.
- Develop content strategies that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Plan, write, and edit various content formats, including apps, websites, emails and phone messages.
- Structure digital content for modularity and access across digital platforms.
- Define the metadata structure to describe, organize and administer content effectively.
- Define controlled terms, taxonomy, synonyms, thesaurus, etc., for application to metadata properties.
- Ensure information navigation and organization systems are intuitive for users.
- Define formats or ideas that best communicate content for understanding and engagement (e.g. illustrations, video, audio, infographics, charts, interactives, etc.)
- Ensure content is clear, concise, informative, and resonates with the target audience.
- Employ the use of proper content patterns to communicate digital content effectively.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to integrate content seamlessly into the user experience.
- Conduct tests on content variations and iterate on content based on user feedback and data insights.
- Stay up to date on content design best practices and industry trends.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a consistent brand voice and tone.
- Produce and edit content that will elevate the digital presence of our financial representatives, such as their digital profile write-ups, profile photos, articles, EDMs and WhatsApp messages.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Essential Requirements (Skills Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in content design or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
- Proven ability to conduct user research and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for creating engaging and informative content.
- Familiarity with SEO writing, design tools such as Figma and content strategy frameworks is a plus.
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
