Role Summary

Lead the overall business operations, growth strategy, and market expansion in Malaysia. This role oversees sales, operations, partnerships, robust governance and compliance and team leadership to drive revenue growth, market share, and customer success across the Malaysia market.

The Country Head will act as the key representative of the company in Malaysia, building strong relationships with customers, partners, regulators, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & P&L: GTM, pricing/packaging, and resource allocation; manage $XX-XXXM ARR with forecast accuracy and capital efficiency.

  • Growth: SME, large SME, Enterprise; secure multi-year, multi-product deals and framework agreements.

  • Customer Success: Improve adoption and value realization; reduced churn, and executive QBR cadence.

  • Partnerships: Orchestrate marketplaces, partnership collaboration, scale partner-sourced revenue and KPI.

  • Marketing & Influence: Lead ABM, and category evangelism; engage associations; providing unique perspectives, authoritative knowledge and forward-looking insights leadership and events.

  • Revenue Operations & Excellence: Optimize CRM hygiene, territories, compensation plans, pricing approvals, billing/collections.

  • Compliance & Security: Ensure, adhere and instill strict compliance to corporate governance and cyber security.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Align with regional product, legal, finance, and support; manage SLAs, incident communications, and localization needs.

  • People & Culture: Hire, coach, GTM organization (Sales, Marketing, Partners); set Objectives and Key Results and uphold ethics/anti-corruption standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • 12–15+ years of leadership experience in technology, SaaS, HR technology, or enterprise software industries.

  • Proven success leading $50–$100M+ ARR businesses with enterprise/public sector

  • Track record beating targets: ARR growth, pipeline coverage, win rates vs. top competitors.

  • Fluency in SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR, churn, retention) and CRM tools.

  • Languages: Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese Speaking is a plus.

  • This position will be based in Malaysia, KL.
