Delivery Operations Excellence, Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Operations Executive to champion best-in-class operational practices for FairPrice Online. In this role, you will take a holistic view of our process design, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, and implement new operational workflows. You will serve as the crucial link between project design and hands-on execution, taking full ownership of delivering initiatives safely on time, within budget, and to our high-performance standards.

e-Commerce Delivery & Order Fulfillment

• Oversee End-to-End Operations: Manage the daily delivery operations and track key performance metrics for our e-commerce first and last-mile delivery models.

• Drive Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify process gaps in fulfillment and delivery workflows, and spearhead initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

• Manage 3PL Partnerships: Oversee the financial and operational relationships with third-party logistics partners, including the accurate management of payment and billing cycles.

• Ensure Compliance: Maintain rigorous documentation of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process changes, ensuring strict adherence to internal audit standards.

• Manage Daily Fulfillment: Oversee the daily order processing workflows, ensuring high standards for picking and packing accuracy, and timely handover to the delivery and dispatch teams.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Lead Project Execution: Drive logistics and supply chain improvement projects from the design phase through to hands-on execution, ensuring successful and timely completion of all deliverables.

• Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify potential project bottlenecks or risks, providing actionable recommendations and mitigation strategies to leadership.

• Align Cross-Functional Goals: Ensure operational strategies are fully aligned with the broader objectives of other business functions and external logistics partners.

• Communicate Effectively: Act as the central point of contact for project updates. Tailor your communication style (verbal, written, and presentational) to effectively align stakeholders across all levels, both inside and outside of FairPrice Online.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations. Background in an e-commerce environment, warehouse management or transportation is highly preferred.

• Project Management Skills: Demonstrated hands-on experience leading or supporting supply chain/logistics improvement projects, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies.

• Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English. You must be able to articulate complex operational concepts clearly to audiences at all levels of the organization.

• Relationship Building: A strong track record of establishing, managing, and influencing relationships with both internal business stakeholders and external logistics vendors.

• Mindset: Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves for direct, hands-on execution.
