Summary
The Digital Development and Trend Manager is responsible for overseeing and guiding the digital development including pattern creation and related projects and internal trend forecasting & process and managing the related teams. Innovating and giving direction on creation of CGI, market trends and concept ideas at a macro trend level across all categories (Hardgoods & Textile) by assuring timely delivery.
What you'll do
Trend Management
Accountable for the preparation, sharing & presentation of trend reports with internal & external parties across Hardgoods/ textiles/ apparel
Ideation of cross-functional concepts in cooperation with cross functional teams as fabric development/ sustainability / digital development / Product development
Short-term forecasts (seasonal) and long-term trend forecasting (macro)
Develop marketing strategies to sell concepts/ new collection, print and moodboard creation
Macro colour planning
Provides new technologies/ resources for product development teams
Drives trend analytics strategy
Supervise the trend team
Manages capacity, resources and budget for Trend tea
Drive internal process optimization & projects
Ad-hoc cross-functional projects
Digital Development Management
Manage a team of pattern makers & 3D designers (across Hardgoods & Textile)
Lead 3D developments from design concept, 2D pattern making to 3D & standard blocks
Deliver 3D digital products utilising solidworks, Maya, keyshot, blender, Browzwear, Clo3D, Apex 4 to provide visual representation of new silhouettes and blocks
Identify and development of 3D workflow guidelines and visual quality standards
Develop standard & style block library with Quality & product development department
Build the digital materials library, blocks, style blocks and database to support the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products
Drive digital product improvements by keeping up date and adoption of innovation for software and AI
Plan and track the development schedule of all projects and products to ensure a timely completion following the product development calendar
Deliver trainings for internal teams for new joiners, knowledge enhancement and knowledge sharing
Collaborate end ensure smooth communication between Product development & merchandising team
Plan roadmap for 3D enhancement and training
Drive innovations as digital showroom creation, marketing content creation
What you'll need
Degree holder in business or industrial/ fashion/ product design or development or other relevant disciplines
Minimum 5 years (Manager), 8 years (Senior Manager) of relevant experience in similar positions
Strong conceptual thinking applied to process workflows & system implementations
Experience with international markets is a must (with focus on Europe), Experience in a value chain brand is a plus
Analytical skills
Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, team player
Naturally able to persuade & influence stakeholders with impeccable presentation skills
Good command of both spoken and written business English.
Able to work independently, self-motivated, proactive, result-oriented, responsible & willing to learn
Attention to detail and good organizing, coordination and planning skills
General knowledge of MS office
Proficient in using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Pattern making & 3D creation skills (not mandatory, but an advantage)
Is naturally proactive and committed to working in a dynamic environment
