Key Responsibilities
Conceptualise, produce, and edit engaging video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and institutional branding
Lead end-to-end video production: ideation, filming, editing, and post-production, able to do short turn-around editing
Plan and execute large-scale video projects such as graduation videos, year-end highlights, and corporate brand videos
Manage full production workflows for major projects, including pre-production planning, scripting, scheduling, and coordination with stakeholders
Capture student life, campus activities, and events through compelling visual storytelling
Work closely with students, faculty, and internal stakeholders to develop authentic and engaging content
Manage and grow social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) with a strong focus on video-first content
Stay up to date with content trends (especially short-form videos) and translate them into creative outputs
Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to support student recruitment campaigns, open houses, and events
Assist in basic design and content adaptation for digital platforms
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements
Any other ad hoc duties
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Media, Communications, Film, Marketing, or a related field
2–4 years of relevant experience in video production, content creation, or digital media
Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and content creation work
Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar
Hands-on experience in photography and videography, including camera handling, lighting, and audio setup
Strong understanding of social media trends, especially TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Comfortable working with students and appearing on-site for shoots and event coverage
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to engage diverse audiences
Creative, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
