Digital Marketplace/ Retail Accountant

Responsible for day-to-day business support and accounting point of contact.

Responsible for entire order to cash accounting process operating delivery model, measure service delivery performance against key service deliverable metrics and variance investigation leading to month-end close revenue accruals. To address any process escalation or performance gaps and regularly review their desktop procedures to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.

Reporting, Analytics & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• During month-end close, you will prepare and deliver the financial reporting pack analytics, synthesizing data into concise insights.

• Expected to work closely with the regional Corporate Accounting team to align on accounting policies

• To ensure statutory and tax compliance.

• Provide ongoing business support to ensure seamless platform operations

• To resolve operational and platform interface issues, support system testing, and propose process improvements to enhance control rigor.

• To identify and drive automation and process improvements within the order to cash cycle, helping to minimize errors and becoming more efficient in working with multiple sources of data.

• Work with SEA Regional teams and cross-functional stakeholders to drive high‑quality operational service delivery.

Requirements:

• CA/CPA and/or Degree holder in Accountancy

• Min 5-7 years of experience in revenue accounting, accounts receivable, financial close/analysis

• Exposure in retail/ digital marketplace platform ESSENTIAL

• Possess deep functional expertise, strong analytical acumen

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial outcome.

• Strong experience with accounting and reconciliations in a high‑volume data environments

• Strong analytical and communication skills; capable of translating data into insights

• Hands-on SAP experience preferred

• Familiarity with automation, data tools, or multi‑system environments is a plus
