E-Commerce Assistant

Description
This role supports the day-to-day operations of multiple brands, currently covering two brands and potentially additional brands in the future. The position involves managing customer support (including live chat), order processing and fulfilment, returns handling, product listings, inventory coordination, sales data updates, and general administrative support across e-commerce platforms. The role requires strong multitasking ability, attention to detail, and flexibility to support business growth and evolving operational needs.
Job Requirements
Customer Support & Live Chat
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via live chat, messages, and e-commerce platforms.
Handle order-related questions, complaints, and after-sales support efficiently.
Order Processing & Fulfilment
Manage order processing, including order confirmation, shipping arrangements, tracking updates, and urgent shipment handling when required.
Assist with packing orders during urgent or peak shipment periods.
Returns Management
Process customer returns and exchanges, including coordination with logistics and internal teams.
Administrative Support
Perform general administrative duties such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal departments.
Product & Inventory Management
Assist in updating and uploading product listings on e-commerce platforms.
Perform inventory checks, stock adjustments, and inventory transfers when needed.
Coordinate inventory movements and update stock records accordingly.
Sales & Data Management
Prepare and update sales data for weekly and monthly meetings.
Support sales data tracking, reporting, and performance updates.
Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
Address customer concerns and operational issues efficiently, escalating to the relevant department when necessary.
Communication Skills
Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
Flexibility
Open to both contract or permanent roles, depending on business needs and candidate preference.
Requirements:
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is a plus but not required. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
