Job Title: Associate (Online Grocery - Delivery Operations)
About the Role: We are looking for a hands-on Delivery Operations Associate to be the driving
force behind our online grocery fulfillment for FairPrice Group (FPG). In this dynamic role, you
won't just be sitting behind a desk; you will split your time between analyzing delivery data,
managing 3PL partners, and being on the ground at our stores. Your primary goal is to ensure
every customer receives their groceries accurately and on time, while continuously improving
our daily dispatch processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment: Ensure the accurate processing, dispatch, and timely delivery of all
online grocery orders.
3PL & Performance Management: Monitor delivery partner (3PL) performance metrics.
Identify bottlenecks, highlight areas for improvement, and enforce adherence to standard
operating procedures (SOPs).
On-Ground Store Support: Travel regularly between store locations to assess
on-ground dispatch processes, implement performance improvement plans, and support
the store teams.
Customer Experience: Promptly investigate and resolve customer inquiries or
complaints related to order deliveries and missing items.
Administration & Billing: Perform monthly billing processes accurately and punctually.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the bridge between store staff, 3PL partners,
customer service, and management.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain. Previous
experience managing or working with 3PL providers is highly advantageous.
Analytical Skills: Comfortable analyzing performance data using e.g. Excel, Google
Sheets. You should be able to look at delivery metrics and spot trends.
Mobility: Willing and able to travel frequently between different store locations on a
daily/weekly basis.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage
3PL drivers, assist customers, and align with other stakeholders.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment where
quick problem-solving is required.
