Role Description
We are looking for an e-Commerce Executive (Operations cum Customer Service) to support Thryft’s day-to-day eCommerce, warehouse, fulfillment, and customer service operations.
This is a hands-on role that combines order fulfillment, item processing, customer support, inventory coordination, and operational administration. You will help ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately, customer enquiries are handled professionally, and daily warehouse operations run smoothly.
As a small team, we are looking for someone who is responsible, independent, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of daily tasks. You should be comfortable working with large volumes of secondhand items such as books, vinyl records, and other preloved goods.
You will also work alongside and help coordinate 2 part-time warehouse staff to ensure processing and fulfillment tasks are completed efficiently.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
eCommerce Operations & Fulfillment
Support daily order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
Assist with processing incoming secondhand items such as books, vinyl records, and other preloved goods
Help ensure items are sorted, checked, organized, and prepared for listing or fulfillment
Maintain smooth day-to-day warehouse workflows with minimal errors or delays
Coordinate with 2 part-time warehouse staff to complete processing and fulfillment tasks
Ensure inventory and order-related information is handled accurately
Identify and resolve operational issues that may affect order accuracy or customer experience
Customer Service
Handle customer enquiries via email and other relevant communication channels
Respond to questions relating to orders, delivery, trade-ins, products, and general eCommerce matters
Troubleshoot customer issues and follow through until they are resolved
Provide a helpful, professional, and positive customer experience
Escalate complex issues where needed, while being able to handle routine enquiries independently
Administrative & Operational Support
Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies from vendors or suppliers
Support basic reporting, tracking, and operational documentation where required
Work with digital tools, eCommerce systems, spreadsheets, and internal workflows
Suggest improvements to make daily operations more efficient and reliable
Requirements
Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
Good written communication skills for customer service emails
Comfortable working independently in a small team environment
Detail-oriented and able to handle repetitive operational tasks accurately
Comfortable with hands-on warehouse work, including sorting, packing, and handling large volumes of items
Comfortable using technology, eCommerce platforms, spreadsheets, and digital tools
Able to multitask across fulfillment, customer enquiries, and operational administration
Analytical and practical in resolving day-to-day operational issues
Comfortable travelling to our warehouse at 23 Kian Teck Road, near Pioneer / Joo Koon MRT
Prior experience in eCommerce, customer service, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain support is an advantage
