Description
Reporting to the e-Commerce Fulfilment Warehouse Supervisor, the e-Commerce Fulfilment Warehouse Assistant (3-years contract) is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes receiving and inspecting products, organizing inventory, processing outbound shipments, and maintaining efficient and accurate order fulfilment processes. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and a focus on ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in all warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
Product Receiving and Inspection
· Ensure accurate receipt of all products.
· Perform thorough inspections to verify the condition of products, ensuring they meet quality standards for sale.
Storage and Organization
· Safely store products in designated locations, maintaining proper conditions for their preservation.
· Regularly perform stock checks to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
Outbound Processing
· Allocate, pick and pack products based on outbound shipments in an accurate and timely manner, including simple gift wrapping if required.
· Consolidate outbound shipments accurately and in a timely manner for collection by courier partners.
Collaboration and Communication
· Liaise with team members from Supply Chain Operations and e-Commerce Fulfilment Team and Commercial Team to promptly resolve any issues pertaining to products.
· Support the investigation of customer complaints related to product issues.
General Warehouse Support
· Support general warehouse operations, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
· Assist in inventory management and replenishment activities.
· Operate warehouse equipment as needed and ensure it is well-maintained.
· Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Continuous Fulfilment Operations
· Assist in ensuring continuous fulfilment operations, including processing orders during weekends and public holidays as needed.
Ad-hoc Duties
· Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by management to support departmental goals and initiatives.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience in warehousing function (in-house or 3rd party logistics) is preferred.
· Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
· Basic proficiency in English.
· Comfortable using computers and mobile devices for order processing and inventory management.
· Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry items as required.
· Ability to work at heights or not afraid of heights.
· Availability to work a 5-day rotating shift schedule, including a commitment to perform overtime on scheduled workdays, off-days, and rest days as required by operational needs.
