About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and strategic E-commerce Manager to lead the vision, growth and execution of Gain City’s online business across marketplaces, brand.com and social commerce platforms.
You will manage the full e-commerce P&L, work cross-functionally across departments, oversee the end-to-end consumer journey, and lead a team to deliver measurable results across sales, operations, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and lead the overall e-commerce strategy to drive key business KPIs including sales revenue, traffic, conversion rates, ROAS, and customer satisfaction.
· Own the full e-commerce P&L, including forecasting, budget planning, and cost control, in close collaboration with the Marketing and Finance teams to ensure sustainable growth and strong ROI.
· Manage and grow performance across e-commerce platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Magento, including campaign negotiations, pricing strategies, and platform relationships.
· Oversee and improve the digital customer journey across both brand.com and the Gain City mobile application, focusing on UI/UX enhancements and conversion optimisation.
· Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders — Marketing, Sales, IT, Finance, Retail, Logistics, and Customer Service — to align execution plans and streamline operations.
· Lead the e-commerce customer service team (both local and overseas) to ensure service excellence and process efficiency across all platforms.
· Manage third-party vendors and platform partners, including contracts, performance monitoring, and solution implementation.
· Monitor and report on e-commerce performance using dashboards and analytics, translating data into actionable insights and continuous improvement.
· Coach and develop the e-commerce team, establishing internal playbooks, SOPs, and best practices to drive executional consistency and capability building.
· Stay updated on e-commerce, digital, and retail trends to identify new opportunities, strengthen competitive positioning, and support business expansion.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field is preferred.
· Minimum 6 years of relevant experience and 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
· Strong working knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and marketplace operations (e.g. Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop).
· Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and e-commerce tools such as GA4,Magento, Dotdigital, and Figma.
· Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
· Experience in omnichannel strategies and online-to-offline (O2O) integration within direct-to-consumer businesses is a strong advantage.
· Highly adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
