E-commerce Manager (Marketplace & DTC Platforms)
We are looking for a driven and hands-on E-commerce Manager to lead and optimise our multi-platform e-commerce operations across the APAC region.
This role is responsible for driving online sales performance across Shopify and key marketplace platforms, translating business goals into actionable plans, and ensuring strong execution across all channels.
You will work closely with internal teams and external platform partners to continuously improve performance, customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Business Growth
Lead e-commerce operations across the APAC region, aligned with overall DTC business strategy and growth targets.
Translate business objectives and budgets into clear platform-level strategies, sales targets and execution roadmaps.
Drive sustainable growth by ensuring effective execution across Shopify and key marketplace platforms.
Multi-Platform Sales Performance
Manage and optimise sales performance across multiple e-commerce platforms including Shopify, Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
Monitor and improve key metrics such as traffic, conversion rate (CVR), AOV and overall platform sales performance.
Plan, coordinate and execute major platform campaigns such as 11.11, Double 12 and other promotional events to drive sales growth.
Platform Operations & Listing Optimisation
Oversee product listings across platforms, ensuring accuracy in content, pricing, SEO optimisation and category placement.
Work with the design and marketing teams to develop high-converting product pages and visual assets.
Ensure store operations are well maintained with accurate, consistent and up-to-date product information across all channels.
Advertising & Campaign Management
Manage and optimise advertising tools including Shopee Ads and Lazada Sponsored Solutions and TikTok Ads.
Analyse campaign performance and continuously improve ROAS, CTR, ACOS and conversion rates through data-driven optimisation.
Coordinate with marketing teams to execute promotions, bundles and campaign mechanics.
Platform Partnership & Resource Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers across key platforms.
Collaborate with platform partners to secure and maximise exposure opportunities, including campaign placements, traffic support and co-marketing initiatives.
Leverage platform tools, programs and insights to enhance store visibility and overall performance.
SOP & Process Optimisation
Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for platform operations.
Improve internal workflows across listing updates, campaign setup and pricing management.
Minimise operational risks and reduce human errors through structured and scalable processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Creative teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.
Align product availability, fulfilment readiness and promotional activities across departments.
Monitor customer feedback, reviews and returns to continuously improve the online shopping experience.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
Lead and manage the e-commerce operations team, setting clear KPIs and performance targets aligned with business goals.
Implement structured performance management frameworks, including regular reviews and performance tracking.
Coach, train and develop team members to strengthen capabilities in platform operations, data analysis and campaign execution.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce or related fields.
3–5 years of experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, Shopify or TikTok Shop.
Strong understanding of marketplace operations, campaign mechanics and platform traffic logic.
Hands-on experience in platform advertising tools and listing optimisation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail and process awareness.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
Experience managing multiple international markets (APAC).
Experience with Shopify analytics, CRO optimisation or marketplace growth strategies.
Experience working in DTC or consumer product brands.
