About the Role
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Ecommerce & Modern Trade Manager to lead and grow our online platforms and key modern trade accounts. This role is responsible for delivering sales targets, managing promotions and trade spend, and ensuring strong execution across both Ecommerce platforms (e.g. Shopee, Lazada, Amazon) and modern trade customers (e.g. NTUC, Sheng Siong, DFI).
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to maximise sales performance, visibility, and return on investment across channels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Management
Own revenue targets for Ecommerce and Modern Trade channels
Develop and execute account and platform plans to deliver growth
Drive monthly and quarterly sales performance against budget
Ecommerce Channel Management
Manage daytoday operations across online platforms
Optimise digital shelf including SKU availability, content, pricing, and search ranking
Plan and execute online campaigns, promotions, sponsored ads, and banners
Monitor platform analytics and performance metrics
Modern Trade Account Management
Manage key retail accounts and customer relationships
Negotiate listings, promotions, shelf space, displays, and pricing
Develop joint business plans (JBPs) and lead regular business reviews
Promotion & Trade Spend
Plan and manage promotional calendars across channels
Ensure trade spend is within budget and delivers strong ROI
Coordinate claims submission and reconciliation with Finance
Data & Reporting
Track sales performance, campaign results, and key KPIs
Generate insights to improve distribution, visibility, pricing, and promotions
Monitor competitor activities and market trends
People & CrossFunctional Collaboration
Lead and coach a small team (2–4 executives)
Work closely with field sales, logistics, finance, marketing, and principals
Ensure strong execution and alignment across teams
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of FMCG experience in Modern Trade and/or Ecommerce
At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Handson experience managing Ecommerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Amazon preferred)
Strong key account management experience with major retailers
Skills & Competencies
Strong commercial and analytical skills
Experience managing trade spend and promotion ROI
Proficient in Excel; Power BI or similar tools are an advantage
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Able to work in a fastpaced, targetdriven environment
