Digital Transformation Lead
Technology Evangelist | ERP & Systems Architect | AI & Innovation
Location: Woodlands Close, Singapore (Near Admiralty MRT)
Working Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
A dynamic manufacturing and engineering firm in Singapore, currently at a pivotal stage of technological transformation. The organization is investing in modern ERP platforms, eCommerce solutions, and AI-driven systems to enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and strengthen its competitive advantage in the next decade.
The Opportunity
This role is about strategic evaluation, implementation leadership, and driving business growth through technology.
This is a hands-on leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, for a commercially astute and technically fluent professional. The Digital Transformation Lead will evaluate, implement, and oversee technology platforms, AI initiatives, and process improvements across the business. This role is strategic and implementation-focused — not helpdesk or IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Transformation Strategy & CEO AdvisoryDevelop and own the company’s technology roadmap aligned to business strategy, growth goals, and operational realities
Serve as primary technology advisor to the CEO, providing commercially grounded recommendations
Evaluate competitive and technology landscapes to identify opportunities for advantage
Lead the decommissioning of legacy systems and manage transitions to next-generation platforms
Lead ERP platform evaluation (NetSuite, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, Odoo, Infor Visual, etc.)
Assess and recommend PIM solutions and accounting systems suitable for manufacturing and eCommerce integration
Build evaluation frameworks, including vendor demos, scored proposals, and total cost of ownership analysis
Oversee Phase 2 rollout of BigCommerce, coordinating requirements, UAT, go-live, and post-launch stabilization
Ensure seamless integration with ERP, PIM, and accounting systems
Lead ERP implementation projects end-to-end
Manage external implementation partners and ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and quality
Facilitate workshops, data migration, configuration, testing, training, and change management
Identify and pilot AI and automation solutions across business functions
Develop a phased, commercially justified AI adoption roadmap
Promote a culture of digital innovation within the organization
Navigate grant programs (EDG, PSG, EDB) to maximize funding opportunities
Ensure compliance with grant requirements, including project planning, certified consultant engagement, and measurable productivity outcomes
Conduct structured requirements-gathering and process mapping across departments
Identify inefficiencies and ensure technology solutions address root causes
Run structured RFP processes, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations
Manage vendor accountability for deliverables, timelines, quality standards, and support SLAs
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Degree in IT, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) or ERP-specific certifications advantageous
Technology & Systems Experience:
Proven experience evaluating and implementing ERP systems in manufacturing or engineering
Practical knowledge of ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, Odoo, etc.)
Familiarity with PIM systems and BigCommerce or equivalent eCommerce platforms
Understanding of system integration approaches: native connectors, iPaaS platforms, APIs
Demonstrated interest and experience in AI tools, automation platforms, and intelligent agents
Project Management & Delivery:
Experience leading end-to-end technology implementations
Strong in business requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional specification development
Proven vendor management in structured delivery frameworks
Singapore Market Knowledge:
Familiarity with Singapore grants (EDG, PSG, EDB) and certified consultant requirements
Success Metrics
First 90 Days:
Deep understanding of operations and current technology landscape
Legacy system decommissioning plan confirmed
BigCommerce Phase 2 milestones visible
ERP/PIM evaluation framework defined, vendors engaged
Government grants opportunities identified
6–12 Months:
ERP/PIM platform selected and approved by the board
EDG grant application submitted with maximum eligible funding
ERP implementation underway with structured governance
AI adoption roadmap defined and at least one tool piloted
CEO and management team fully briefed on technology status and roadmap
