Role Overview
SPTel, a leading enterprise connectivity and digital infrastructure provider under Seraya Partners, is seeking a commercially driven Event, Association & Market Development Marketing Manager to lead experience‑led marketing initiatives that directly support market penetration, pipeline growth, and brand authority.
This role owns end‑to‑end event marketing, trade association engagement, and industry partnership activation, using events, ecosystems, and thought leadership platforms to generate demand, develop new markets, and convert engagement into qualified leads and opportunities.
You will work at the intersection of marketing, sales, and partners, ensuring that SPTel’s presence across industry platforms delivers measurable commercial outcomes, not just visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy, Execution & Experience
Own and lead SPTel’s event marketing strategy, delivering high‑impact physical, hybrid, and digital experiences aligned to business and revenue objectives.
Plan, propose, project manage, and deliver events, tradeshows, conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, demonstrations, and executive roundtables across Singapore and the region.
Own end‑to‑end execution, including content design, logistics, production, vendor coordination, and post‑event measurement.
Ensure consistently high customer experience standards, with clear ownership of event satisfaction, brand perception, and NPS outcomes.
Market Development via Trade Associations & Industry Platforms
Own SPTel’s engagement strategy with trade associations, industry bodies, and strategic forums relevant to enterprise connectivity, digital infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology ecosystems.
Identify, evaluate, and activate industry platforms and associations as channels for:
Market development and category positioning
Thought leadership and credibility building
Lead generation and pipeline contribution
Work with internal stakeholders to define clear value propositions, themes, and messaging for participation in association‑led events, working groups, and initiatives.
Represent marketing in cross‑functional planning for association activities, ensuring alignment to target industries, buyer personas, and growth priorities.
Industry Partners, Ecosystem Activation & Lead Generation
Partner with technology, channel, and industry partners to design and execute co‑branded events, joint workshops, partner‑led webinars, and industry showcases.
Develop event‑led motions that support:
Entry into new segments or verticals
Upsell and cross‑sell opportunities
Partner‑driven demand generation
Work closely with Sales and Business Development to ensure:
Clear lead qualification criteria
Timely follow‑up and progression from lead → opportunity
Visibility of event and partner‑sourced pipeline contribution
Track, report, and optimise lead generation and conversion performance from events, associations, and partner activities.
Content, Thought Leadership & Storytelling
Curate and produce event content, speeches, presentations, demonstrations, and engagement formats in collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, and partners.
Position SPTel through use cases, customer stories, and solution narratives tailored to specific industry and association audiences.
Support executive and subject‑matter expert participation in panels, forums, and speaking opportunities to strengthen SPTel’s market authority.
Customer Engagement, Innovation & Retention
Own customer experience for SPTel customer appreciation, executive networking, nurturing, and retention programmes, including gifting initiatives.
Lead the experience design and engagement model for SPTel customer innovation spaces, labs, demo suites, or showcases, where applicable.
Ensure events support long‑term relationship building, not just one‑off transactions.
Budget, Measurement & Commercial Performance
Prepare and manage event and programme budgets, ensuring strong cost discipline and value delivery.
Define and track KPIs including:
Attendance and engagement
Lead volume and quality
Influence on pipeline and revenue
Brand, customer experience, and NPS scores
Deliver post‑activity reports with insights, ROMI analysis, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields
Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B event marketing, preferably within telecommunications, IT, or enterprise technology
Proven experience working with trade associations, industry bodies, or partner ecosystems
Strong understanding of enterprise technology markets, including connectivity, Managed Services, cloud, cybersecurity, and Digital Infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to drive lead generation and market development through events
Experience using KPIs, ROMI metrics, and lead performance analytics
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
Commercially focused, customer‑centric, and outcome‑driven
Self‑starter with the ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, changing environments
