Job Summary

This is a senior individual contributor and team lead responsible for driving three interconnected strategic portfolios at DSV Road. This role spans both Singapore and Malaysia markets, serving as the commercial and brand engine of the business — leading marketing across both countries, designing tailored logistics solutions for Singapore-Malaysia cross border and Johor domestic lanes, and embedding sustainability commitments into business strategy and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Marketing & Brand Management

Coverage: Singapore & Malaysia

  • Lead the development and execution of DSV Road's annual marketing plan for Singapore and Malaysia, aligned to commercial priorities and regional brand strategy

  • Manage all digital and offline marketing channels including LinkedIn, the corporate website, email campaigns, and industry publications

  • Create and oversee the production of high-quality marketing content — case studies, thought leadership articles, service brochures, presentations, and event materials

  • Drive brand consistency across all customer-facing communications in Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring alignment with DSV's global brand guidelines

  • Plan and manage industry events, webinars, client engagement activities, and trade show participation across Singapore and Malaysia

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing campaign performance using data and analytics tools, optimising spend and effort based on outcomes

  • Oversee and mentor the Marketing Intern, providing guidance, task delegation, and performance feedback

  • Manage relationships with external vendors including creative agencies, print suppliers, and event organisers

2.  Solution Design & Commercial Support

Coverage: Singapore–Malaysia Cross border | Johor Domestic

  • Partner with the Sales and Key Account teams in Singapore and Malaysia to develop customised logistics solutions covering Singapore-Malaysia cross border lanes and Johor domestic freight

  • Lead the design, costing, and presentation of end-to-end road freight solutions for Singapore-Malaysia cross border and Johor domestic operations — including routing, capacity planning, SLA design, and operational modelling

  • Develop compelling proposals, RFQ/RFP responses, and pitch decks that clearly articulate DSV Road's value proposition for cross border and Johor domestic freight

  • Conduct detailed customer needs analysis and translate requirements into operationally viable, commercially sound solutions

  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and IT to validate solution feasibility and ensure accurate commercial pricing

  • Maintain a solutions library of reusable templates, case studies, and service configurations to accelerate proposal development

  • Track win/loss outcomes and incorporate learnings to continuously improve solution quality and conversion rates

3.  Sustainability & ESG Engagement

Coverage: Singapore & Malaysia

  • Champion DSV Road's sustainability agenda across Singapore and Malaysia, in line with DSV Group's global ESG commitments and targets

  • Develop and maintain sustainability-related marketing content and reporting collateral for client, regulatory, and internal stakeholder use

  • Support clients in understanding DSV Road's green logistics offerings — including carbon emissions reporting, green freight options, and sustainable routing

  • Collaborate with regional and global sustainability teams to align on reporting frameworks, certifications, and ESG initiatives

  • Track sustainability KPIs and prepare periodic reports for management, clients, and regulatory submissions

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to integrate sustainability commitments into solution design and client proposals

  • Represent DSV Road at industry forums, sustainability working groups, and client sustainability reviews

4.  General & Cross-Functional

  • Prepare and present regular updates on marketing performance, pipeline activity, and sustainability progress to senior leadership

  • Contribute to strategic planning cycles, budgeting, and business reviews as a subject matter expert across all three portfolios

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR

  • Undertake any other ad hoc tasks, projects, or special assignments as directed by the Supervisor or Senior Management from time to time, in support of the organisation's overall business objectives

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related discipline

  • Professional certifications in marketing, sustainability, or logistics are an advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in a marketing, commercial, or solution design role, preferably within logistics, freight, or supply chain

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel B2B marketing programmes

  • Proven track record in solution design, RFP/RFQ management, or commercial proposal development

  • Exposure to ESG reporting, green logistics initiatives, or corporate sustainability programmes

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe) is a plus

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and digital analytics tools

  • Working knowledge of road freight operations and logistics commercial models

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-directed with a collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder management skills
