Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new market segments within the e-commerce landscape (D2C, B2B marketplaces, social commerce). Prospect, qualify, and develop new leads within assigned market segments and industries.

  • Execute the full spectrum of sales activities and tasks to achieve business and revenue targets. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead identification, engagement, proposal presentation, negotiation, closing, onboarding, and post-sales support.

  • Promote and sell the organisation’s full suite of services around APAC, including marketplace channel management, ecommerce strategy, B2C/B2B fulfilment, and regional logistics solutions. Participate in tactical business development strategies to identify and onboard brands as their eCommerce enabler while leveraging YCH’s supply chain and fulfilment capabilities.

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with the operations and tech teams to create bespoke logistics solutions (last-mile delivery, warehousing, cross-border shipping) that solve specific client pain points.

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets while maintaining healthy profit margins.

  • Track sales performance, prepare reports, and analyse commercial data to support forecasting and strategic planning. Act as a Brand Ambassador for YSG and YCH in managing post-sales relationships and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

  • Trend Analysis: Keep a pulse on e-commerce trends and competitor moves to ensure our service offerings remain market-leading. Maintain accurate documentation of pipeline, revenue, and client interactions using CRM and reporting tools.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Senior Management.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related discipline.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in business development, ecommerce, logistics, or a related commercial role.

  • Network: An existing portfolio or strong network of e-commerce merchants and digital brands is a massive plus.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (including advanced formulas, data analysis, and reporting).

  • Working knowledge of Excel Macros/VBA and Power BI is highly preferred to support dashboarding, performance tracking, and business analytics.

  • Ability to interpret data, build reports, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Understanding of ecommerce ecosystems and/or logistics fulfilment operations is an advantage.

  • Strong business acumen and customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build long-term partnerships.

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly.

  • Meticulous, organised, and results-driven with strong time management skills.

  • Strong command of English; additional regional language skills are advantageous.

  • Professional team player with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments and regions.
