Job Summary


We are seeking a versatile and dynamic Fashion Designer to drive ourapparel collections from conceptualisation to consumer launch. This hybrid rolerequires a strong eye for fashion aesthetics and hands-on technical designskills, combined with the ability to create engaging digital and retailmarketing content. You will be responsible for developing apparel lines fromscratch, managing technical specifications, and translating the brand’sseasonal stories into high-impact social media assets and in-store visualcollaterals.


Key Responsibilities


1. Apparel Product Development & Fashion Design (From Scratch)



  • Conceptualise and sketch original fashion designs, curate seasonal mood boards, and define color palettes aligned with brand identity.

  • Construct comprehensive technical specification packages (Tech Packs), including flat CAD drawings, detailed measurements, fabric structures, and construction methods.

  • Source and select textiles, trims, hardware, and components that meet target cost margins and quality standards.

  • Coordinate prototyping and sample fitting sessions with manufacturers; execute pattern adjustments and technical corrections to achieve optimal garment fit.


2. Graphic Design & Brand Packaging



  • Design custom fabric prints, placement graphics, embroideries, and typography artwork for apparel production using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Develop physical brand assets, including custom swing tags, woven neck labels, wash-care tags, and promotional packaging layouts.

  • Create high-resolution retail marketing collateral, such as in-store posters, window display banners, and promotional point-of-sale signs.


3. Social Media Content & Digital Merchandising



  • Translate seasonal design concepts into engaging digital content, producing daily graphics, stories, and short-form video reels for Instagram and TikTok.

  • Shoot and edit lookbook photography and behind-the-scenes footage highlighting the product development lifecycle to drive online brand storytelling.

  • Maintain visual asset consistency across e-commerce banners, email newsletters, and digital lookbooks.


4. Buying Support & Production Liaison



  • Conduct market research on current fashion movements, consumer behavior, and competitor assortments to identify commercial product opportunities.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for overseas factories, managing daily production timelines, material approvals, and delivery schedules.

  • Assist in tracking seasonal sample inventories, fabric swatches, and vendor procurement documentation.


Job Requirements




  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, Graphic Design, or a related creative discipline.


  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Canva; basic understanding of Microsoft Excel for production tracking.


  • Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating technical apparel design work (CAD flats or tech packs) and clean graphic layouts/digital media assets is mandatory.


  • Competencies: Strong project management skills to balance product manufacturing deadlines with daily content creation schedules.
